Azerbaijan disrupts OSCE monitoring along Armenia’s state border

Azerbaijan’s armed forces on Thursday opened fire against representatives of an OSCE mission conducting a monitoring close to the border village of Chinari, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense confirmed.

թ§Չ‚-ժ“The Azerbaijani side opened fire in the direction of the group, so they are now practically unable to do their job,թ§Չ‚-Թ Artsrun Hovhannisyan told Tert.am.

Earlier, the Foreign Ministryթ§Չ‚-Չ„§s press secretary, Tigran Balayan, shared his concerns over the incident on his Twitter microblog. թ§Չ‚-ժ“Azerbaijan|i Armes forces opened fire during the OSCE monitoring on the state border with #Armenia, Tavush region,թ§Չ‚-Թ he tweeted.
